PACHINO

Pachino is located at 65m asl in the province of Siracusa and counts a population of nearly 22,000 inhabitants. It was founded in 1778 by Gaetano Starabba Alagona of the Giardinelli princes and developed on a chessboard pattern of streets.

The 1700’s Mother Church dedicated to the Santissimo Crocifisso has a simple shape with a single nave. The city is renowned for the output of blend grape.
