CASTELDACCIA
Casteldaccia is a town of some 8,000 located in
the Palermo province at some 79m asl.
It grew on
the feudal dominion of the Marquis Longarinis.
Several wine and pasta factories and oil mills
represent Casteldaccia’s main economic resources.
The Chiesa Madre and the Palazzo
Ducale are the most attractive buildings, both dating from the 18th
century, when the town was founded.
