BORGETTO

Borgetto is a tiny town located in the province of Palermo. It originates from a feudal dominion controlled by the Benedictine Monastery of Santa Maria delle Ciambre, later owned by the city of Palermo. In its surroundings, are sites of historical and naturalistic interest, such as the Santuario di Romitello, by the Mount Crocefia, offering a panoramic view including Montelepre, the archaeological site of Segesta and the Golfo di Castellammare.
