PERGUSA

Pergusa is a village in the Enna province standing at 667m a.s.l. It has grown in the 20^th century by the shore of the lake after which it was named. Thanks to its high naturalistic value, the area is a major attraction for tourists. Oval-shaped, the lake is bordered by beautiful eucalyptus woods and a, much lesser naturalistic, motor-racing track. Due to lack of precipitation in the last years, the lake’s water level is presently lowest.
