ACQUAVIVA PLATANI

Acquaviva Platani, in the Caltanissetta province, is a city of ancient origin, with panoramic views over the upper valley of the Platani river and the Cammarata Mount. The modern city has developed around a settlement of more ancient origin.

The 1600’s Mother Church, dedicated to the Madonna della Luce, the Chiesa del Purgatorio and the Torre dell’Orologio (watch-tower), dating from the late 1800s, are the city’s main attractions.
