CALAMONACI

The city of Calamonaci, totalling some 1,600 inhabitants, is located in the province of Agrigento. It stands on a flat land flowed by the Verdura and the Magazzolo rivers. It grew around a feudal hamlet belonged to several aristocratic families. The city was founded by Antonio Termini Feneri. The Mother Church, dedicated to San Vincenzo, is its main attraction.
